Job Description

We are a growing landscape design-build company specializing in high-quality residential outdoor living spaces. Our projects include patios, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, pools and spas, drainage and grading, planting, lighting, irrigation, and complete landscape transformations. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Landscape Estimator to join our team. This position plays an important role in turning creative landscape designs into accurate, profitable, and buildable projects. Position Summary The Landscape Estimator will be responsible for attending take off meetings, client meetings and site visits as needed. Estimator will review landscape plans, determine project quantities and costs, prepare detailed estimates and proposals, obtain vendor and subcontractor pricing. They will work closely with our designers, project managers, and production team ensure proposed projects can be constructed within the client's anticipated budget. The ideal candidate understands landscape construction, can accurately interpret plans and specifications, and is comfortable balancing competitive pricing with the labor, materials, equipment, and overhead required to successfully complete a project. Qualifications Previous estimating experience in landscape construction, hardscaping, residential construction, or a related field is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods and materials. Ability to read and interpret landscape plans, construction drawings, elevations, and specifications. Understanding of labor production rates and construction sequencing. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple estimate jnk,;s and deadlines simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable communicating with designers, vendors, subcontractors, project managers, and clients. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Valid driver's license. What We Offer Full-time, year-round employment. Must be willing to accommodate the seasonal nature of the work. April, May, and June are super busy and require longer hours than the remainder of the year. Salary is competitive and to be determined depending on experience. Compensation:
$60,000 to $100,000 plus per year depending upon experience.
