Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, analyzing architectural drawings, specifications, and collaborating closely with clients, sales reps, and project managers to develop comprehensive cost proposals. Your expertise will help ensure projects are financially viable while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse commercial construction projects, utilizing your skills to drive successful outcomes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Review architectural / constructon documents including plans, specifications or other technical drawings, perform take-offs to identify project scope. Utilize pricing tools including Quote/Configurator Software and in-house templates and price worksheets. Utilize take-off software such as Bluebeam and/or Adobe to successfully identify products, dimensions or other key details. Coordinate with Purchasing and Manufacturing teams the sourcing of outside services or non-stock materials. Prepare professional cost estimates for use during the bidding process. Follow up on pending bids and update as required. Support independent reps throughout sales process by identifying selling features, cost savings and being a liason between the company and our sales team. Education and Experience Associates or Bachelors Degree in construction, manufacturing or operations. Or 3-5 years of relevant experience in a related field. Strong ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Proficiency using MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams. Experience using Bluebeam (Revu) or similar take-off / construction document software. Understanding of construction or manufacturing industry practices including cost management, material estimating, and project budgeting. Effective communication skills for client interactions, team collaboration, and presenting detailed estimates clearly.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
