Mid-Tec, an industrial contractor company in Anderson, MO, is seeking to hire an Experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate must have excellent computer skills, be fluent in Microsoft Office and Project, have strong communication skills with experience in working with vendors and subcontractors.

Duties include:

Ability to manage complete takeoff from the bid documents Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work Attend Pre-Bid meetings as well as pre-bid jobsite visits Enter Labor, Material, Equipment, Subcontractors, and project overhead for each respective project Work efficiently under stringent deadlines Solicit bids from subcontractors, send plans and specifications, and follow up to obtain competitive pricing Procure permitting for awarded projects Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to establish delivery and start schedules, updating as needed Negotiate and create purchase orders to trade partners & vendors for awarded projects Maintain safety ratings and requirements in ISN & Avetta Spearhead job specific safety training requirements

Qualifications:

Construction Management degree or related field -OR- 5 years Construction Estimating experience Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Projects, experience with Microsoft Office Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Position is Monday-Friday 8-5, with full benefits offered
