EXPERIENCED

estimator that can read blueprints and create estimates for our clients without errors. You will organize and oversee your construction projects and ensure that they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. An excellent candidate must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time and according to requirements and without exceeding budget. Responsibilities Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements Write estimates without error and meet with clients Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met Hire contractors and allocate responsibilities Supervise the work of superintendents and give them guidance when needed Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports Send out blueprints and meet with vendors on site for new projects Must have: In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles Read and understand blueprints Good knowledge of MS Office and Excel Outstanding communication and negotiation skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills Learn and use Procore our project management software Travel if necessary (doesn't happen often) A team player with leadership abilities

Job Type:

Full-time Salary is based upon experience $70,000 + Project management: 5+ years

$70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
