We specialize in both ground-up construction and major renovations, managing electrical packages ranging from small service work to multi-million-dollar installations. As an Electrical Estimator , you'll play a critical role in helping Slifco Electric secure successful projects by delivering accurate, competitive, and well-structured estimates. You'll collaborate closely with leadership and project teams during preconstruction while helping shape project strategy before the first wire is ever pulled.

What You'll Be Doing:

Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates for industrial projects. Review and analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents. Perform detailed material take-offs and labor analysis. Evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals and pricing. Identify project risks, scope gaps, and value engineering opportunities. Collaborate with Project Managers and leadership during preconstruction. Maintain organized, clear, and defensible estimate documentation. Support project handoff to operations teams after award.

What We're Looking For:

3+ years of electrical estimating experience or strong electrical construction background. Strong understanding of electrical systems and installation practices. Ability to confidently read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Experience with estimating software platforms. Data Center project experience (preferred). Accubid experience (preferred). Journeyman Electrician License (preferred). Strong computer proficiency and technical aptitude.
