Job Description
Looking to grow in both estimating and project management? A Kansas City steel fabricator and erector focused on structural and miscellaneous steel packages is hiring an Estimator / Project Manager, and the role is built for an early- to mid-career professional ready to take on both sides of the work.
Your responsibilities:
Manage awarded jobs from fabrication through erection, including schedule, budget, and change orders Complete quantity takeoffs and estimates for structural and miscellaneous steel packages Put together bids and proposals and request quotes for detailing, erection, and coatings Track project costs while handling RFIs and submittals Coordinate closely with the shop, field crews, detailers, and general contractors Your background: Ability to read architectural and structural drawings 2-8 years of experience in steel estimating, project management, or a related construction role Familiarity with miscellaneous and structural metals scopes Estimating software experience is a plusPreferred:
an engineering or construction management degree, or equivalent experienceCompensation:
$75,000 - $105,000, plus a yearly bonus opportunity and a sign-on bonus for top candidates joining from competitors.Benefits
