Job Description

Stable project pipeline Leadership and growth opportunities About Our Client Company is a well-established custom millwork company serving commercial, retail, hospitality, and institutional clients throughout the region. Known for delivering high-quality craftsmanship and tailored solutions, the company specializes in custom fabrication, casework, cabinetry, and specialty architectural millwork projects from concept through installation.
Job Description Estimating:
Prepare detailed estimates and quantity takeoffs for custom millwork, casework, cabinetry, and architectural woodworking projects.
Drawings:
Review architectural drawings, specifications, bid documents, and project requirements.
Team Leadership:
Collaborate with project management, production, and operations teams during the preconstruction process.
Safety Compliance:
Identify project risks, scope gaps, and cost-saving opportunities.
Documentation:
Maintain estimating databases, pricing records, and historical cost information.
Quality Control:
Ensure estimates are completed accurately and within required deadlines. The Successful Applicant Previous experience estimating architectural millwork, custom cabinetry, casework, commercial interiors, or related construction projects. Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents. Thorough understanding of millwork materials, fabrication methods, and construction processes. Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple bid opportunities and competing deadlines simultaneously. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software is preferred. Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
