TMF Metal Solutions TMF Metal Solutions is a growing custom metal fabrication company specializing in precision sheet metal, structural steel, welding, machining, and finishing services. We are seeking an experienced Metal Fabrication Estimator / Inside Sales Representative to join our team and help drive our continued growth. Position Summary The successful candidate will prepare accurate, competitive quotations for custom fabrication projects while serving as a key point of contact between customers, engineering, purchasing, and production. This role requires strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quotations for sheet metal, structural steel, and welded fabrication projects.
• Review customer drawings, specifications, and RFQs to determine project scope.
• Estimate material, labor, machining, welding, finishing, and subcontract costs.
• Develop manufacturing methods and identify the most cost-effective production approach.
• Source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Communicate with customers to clarify technical and commercial requirements.
• Prepare formal quotations and assist with bid and tender submissions.
• Follow up on quotations and support inside sales activities.
• Maintain accurate estimating records and job costing information.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and continuous process improvement.
• Work closely with production and engineering to ensure estimates accurately reflect manufacturing capabilities. Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, structural steel, welding, machining, and powder coating.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD prints.
• Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple quotations simultaneously.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Knowledge of CNC laser cutting, press brakes, tube lasers, and machining operations.
• Experience preparing fabrication quotations for OEM and industrial customers. What We Offer
