If you have a strong background in heavy civil construction and underground utilities, enjoy building competitive bids, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for underground utility and heavy civil construction projects. Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to develop complete project estimates. Perform quantity takeoffs for sanitary sewer, storm sewer, waterline, excavation, grading, and related site work. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes. Develop project budgets and cost analysis. Collaborate with project managers, field personnel, and leadership throughout the bidding process. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed. Identify value engineering opportunities and potential project risks. What We're Looking For 3+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction or underground utilities. Strong knowledge of underground utility installation, earthwork, and site development. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents. Experience with HCSS Estimating Software and Microsoft Office. Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines.
