We specialize in residential remodeling, home improvements, repairs, and light commercial projects throughout the Lehigh Valley. We are looking for someone who understands residential construction, takes pride in their work, communicates professionally with customers, and can confidently represent our company in the field. This is an opportunity to work directly with the owner, learn our estimating and project management processes, and grow into a more responsible and rewarding position as the company expands. We are looking for a construction professional, not just someone who can take measurements. The right candidate should have broad knowledge of residential remodeling, understand how projects come together, and know what questions to ask when evaluating a job. What You Will Do 1. Conduct On-Site Estimate Visits Visit residential properties and light commercial locations to evaluate potential remodeling and repair projects. Meet homeowners, property managers, and prospective clients professionally. Take accurate measurements, photographs, and detailed notes. Assess project scope, materials, labor requirements, site conditions, and potential challenges. Gather the information needed for the owner to prepare accurate, competitive estimates. Learn our estimating process through hands-on training and accompanying the owner on appointments. 2. Visit and Monitor Active Projects Make periodic jobsite visits to check progress and maintain a positive customer experience. Communicate with customers and help address routine questions or concerns. Coordinate with subcontractor team leaders when they need clarification or assistance. Photograph progress, identify potential issues, and communicate updates to the owner. Assist with project start-up coordination, customer check-ins, and payment collection when authorized. 3. Develop Customer Relationships and New Business Represent JMS professionally at estimate appointments and networking events. Build relationships with real estate agents, property managers, investors, and other potential referral partners. Identify opportunities for additional services and upgrades that benefit our customers. Help generate new leads and develop repeat business. As experience grows, take on additional sales and business development responsibilities. 4. Grow Into a Larger Role The right person will have the opportunity to assume greater responsibility as they demonstrate reliability, construction knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently. Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience in residential remodeling, renovations, construction, or general contracting. Broad working knowledge of multiple residential trades, such as: Carpentry, framing, and general repairs Drywall installation and finishing Interior and exterior painting Flooring and tile Kitchen and bathroom remodeling Decks, patios, and exterior improvements Doors, windows, siding, roofing, and related repairs Ability to evaluate job conditions, recognize potential problems, and ask the right questions. Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills. Comfortable using a smartphone to take photos, measurements, and detailed field notes. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel throughout the Lehigh Valley for appointments and project visits. Professional appearance, dependable attendance, honesty, and a strong work ethic.

Preferred:

Bilingual in English and Spanish. Candidates with strong construction knowledge and professional communication skills are encouraged to apply even if they speak only English. Compensation & Growth Opportunities Starting pay: $25 per hour , based on experience and qualifications. Hands-on training directly with the company owner. Performance and compensation reviews as skills and responsibilities grow. Opportunities for future performance-based bonuses or additional compensation tied to qualified upsells and new business generated. Future incentive arrangements will be discussed and agreed upon based on performance, profitability, and the responsibilities assumed.
