Job Description

Know Electrical Construction? Ready to Own the Project From Estimate to Closeout? Parra Electric, Inc. is looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Estimator / Sales Professional who knows electrical construction and can take ownership of a project from the first site visit through final completion. This isn't a position where you'll simply push paperwork or inherit projects after they're sold. You'll be involved from the beginning. You'll meet with customers, walk jobs, review plans, determine scope, build pricing, prepare proposals, help win the work, and then manage awarded projects through completion. If you can walk onto an electrical project, understand what needs to happen, figure out the labor and materials, put together an accurate scope and price, and then lead that project successfully — we want to talk to you. This Role Is a
Strong Fit If You:
Have a strong electrical construction background Understand both the field side and business side of electrical projects Can confidently walk a job and determine what is required Know how to estimate labor, materials, equipment, and project requirements Can communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, GCs, property managers, and commercial customers Know how to manage electricians, schedules, materials, changes, and customer expectations Catch problems before they become expensive problems Take ownership instead of waiting for someone else to tell you what comes next Believe follow-through matters This is not an entry-level project management position. Electrical construction experience is required. About Parra Electric Parra Electric, Inc. is a locally owned and operated electrical contractor that has served residential and commercial customers throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania and surrounding areas for more than 26 years . We've built our reputation by doing quality electrical work, taking care of our customers, and standing behind what we do. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced electrical professional who can help us manage projects, strengthen customer and contractor relationships, and make sure the work we sell is properly planned and executed in the field. What You'll Own Estimating & Sales You'll be responsible for helping turn opportunities into well-planned, profitable electrical projects. Meet with homeowners, builders, general contractors, property managers, and commercial customers Perform site visits and evaluate existing conditions Review plans, drawings, specifications, bid documents, and project requirements Develop detailed and accurate scopes of work Determine labor, material, equipment, and other project costs Prepare clear, professional proposals Review scope and pricing with customers when needed Follow up on outstanding proposals and opportunities Answer customer questions regarding scope, pricing, scheduling, and project requirements Project Management Once the project is awarded, you stay involved. Manage electrical projects from planning through completion Coordinate manpower, schedules, materials, equipment, and field requirements Make sure field personnel understand the scope and expectations before work begins Work closely with electricians, foremen, office staff, vendors, and subcontractors Maintain communication with customers, builders, and general contractors Monitor project progress, labor, material usage, schedule, and job costs Conduct site visits and address project needs in the field Identify scope gaps, conflicts, delays, and potential problems early Help resolve field and customer issues quickly and professionally Keep projects moving and customers informed Change Orders, Billing & Closeout Good project management means making sure additional work doesn't disappear into the job.
You'll:
Identify additional work and changes in scope Prepare and manage change orders and revisions Ensure additional work is documented and approved Assist with progress billing and project closeout Maintain accurate and organized project records Make sure projects are completed according to scope, schedule, quality standards, and customer expectations What You Need to Bring Electrical construction experience is
REQUIRED.

You should be comfortable reviewing plans in the office, walking a project in the field, talking scope and pricing with a customer, coordinating with electricians, addressing a change with a GC, and making sure the project gets across the finish line correctly. You don't need someone standing over you telling you what to do next. You see what needs to happen — and you make it happen.
