Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fencing Contractor and estimator to lead our project bidding, client consultations, and field operations. In this dual-focused role, you will be responsible for generating accurate cost estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial fencing projects while ensuring that awarded contracts are executed flawlessly, safely, and on schedule. The ideal candidate possesses deep hands-on knowledge of fencing materials, a proven track record in construction estimation, and exceptional leadership abilities to oversee and manage labor crews & quality installations. Key Responsibilities Estimation & Bidding Conduct on-site evaluations to measure property boundaries, assess terrain challenges, and qualify customer requirements. Analyze blueprints, site plans, and public works specifications to evaluate job details. Calculate comprehensive cost outlines factoring in materials (wood, vinyl, chain-link, ornamental iron), labor, heavy equipment, and regional permits. Negotiate material pricing with vendors to maximize project profit margins. Project Management & Contracting Serve as the primary point of contact for residential and commercial clients, suppliers, and stakeholders from bid to completion. Supervise field installation crews , ensuring layout accuracy, structural integrity, and adherence to safety guidelines. Manage project budgets by comparing actual post-installation hours and material waste against initial estimates. Coordinate underground utility staking and secure necessary building permits or HOA approvals before excavation.

Required Qualifications Experience:

Minimum of 1-3 years of dedicated experience in fencing estimation and construction contract management.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in reading construction schematics, site plans & drawings.

Knowledge:

Deep understanding of layout physics, post-setting specifications, wind-load restrictions, and gate automation mechanics.

Licensing:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required for frequent site travel).

Physical Ability:

Capability to traverse rugged terrain, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and lift 50+ lbs., if required on-site. Additional Requirements Ability to foster relationships with local commercial developers, general contractors, and material vendors. Ability to work some weekends as needed.
