Role Description The Construction Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Saxonburg, PA with some occasional travel to job sites. This role is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates on a variety of project types, including commercial construction, healthcare, data centers, etc., with a heavy emphasis on MEP estimation. Candidate must be able to prepare estimates in the hard bid, design-build, and negotiated estimating processes. The estimator will review drawings and specifications, solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, and identify cost-saving opportunities and risks for the client and company. Daily tasks include collaborating with project managers, engineers, superintendents and procurement teams, maintaining accurate cost databases, and updating estimates as designs and economic factors evolve throughout the lifespan of projects. Qualifications Strong skills in commercial construction estimation and Quantity Take-offs for a variety of building and infrastructure projects. Proficiency in Cost Management and Budgeting, including analyzing bids, tracking project costs, and supporting financial planning. Effective Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors. Experience with construction estimating software (BlueBeam) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with project management tools is beneficial. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, building cost codes, and industry standards. Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy. Relevant education in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Prior experience in commercial, healthcare or industrial construction estimating in a general contractor environment is preferred.

Pay:

$85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
