Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:
Preparation of AutoCAD shop drawings and submittal packages within a fast-paced environment. Review of construction drawings and specifications with Estimators and Project Mangers. Perform analytical problem-solving through various construction issues and detailing conflicts. Coordinate, communicate, and implement construction revisions. Communicate with the Technical Services Department of our vendor partners. Assist in the professional development and training of co-workers. Prepare construction submittals for various building envelope systems, particularly roofing and architectural metal panel/other cladding systems. Manage multiple responsibilities and tasks and understand building construction documents and division of trades. All other related duties.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of recent experience with AutoCAD/drafting Knowledge of manufacturing and construction processes Ability to read and understand blueprints Technical knowledge of or familiarity with architectural construction detailing and manufacturer fabrication drawings Ability to effectively communicate with management and peers in a team building environment Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
