Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Ceramic Tile Installer specializing in floors and shower walls to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and lay ceramic tiles accurately according to technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate adhesives or mortar for optimal tile adhesion. Install various flooring materials including epoxy floors, vinyl floors, hardwood, carpet, and laminate as needed. Execute tile laying on shower walls, floors, and other surfaces with precision to ensure a seamless finish. Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install tiles while maintaining quality standards. Interpret construction plans and schematics to determine layout patterns and installation sequences. Perform floor refinishing, caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and water damage restoration when required. Follow building installation safety compliance protocols diligently to maintain a safe work environment. Assist with restoration projects by providing expert tile installation and surface repair services. Support construction estimating efforts by providing accurate material take-offs and time estimates for tile projects. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on flooring installation including ceramic tiles, epoxy floors, vinyl floors, hardwoods, carpets, and related materials. Strong knowledge of building material installation techniques such as tile laying, caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture mounting. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans for precise project execution. Familiarity with hand tools (e.g., trowels, chisels), power tools (e.g., saws, drills), and manual handling techniques necessary for heavy lifting and surface preparation. Experience with water damage restoration or floor care is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to read schematics and blueprint layouts accurately to ensure proper installation alignment. Knowledge of construction safety standards including building installation safety compliance is essential. Excellent manual dexterity combined with attention to detail to achieve high-quality finishes on all projects.
