Epoxy Flooring Installer / Flooring Technician Nationwide Industrial Coatings is a growing flooring company based in Romeo, Michigan , serving customers throughout the country. We specialize in professional epoxy and polyaspartic flooring systems for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. We are looking for an experienced flooring professional to join our crew. Previous flooring experience is required. We are looking for someone who already understands flooring installation, surface preparation, working with tools and materials, and the importance of proper preparation and attention to detail. Experience specifically with epoxy, polyaspartic, concrete coatings, or other resinous flooring systems is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Concrete grinding and floor preparation Operating floor grinders and industrial vacuums Surface preparation and cleaning Crack and concrete repair Mixing and applying epoxy and polyaspartic coatings Installing full-chip flooring systems Squeegeeing and back-rolling coatings Working with flooring tools, equipment, and materials Loading and unloading equipment and materials Maintaining a clean and organized jobsite Working with the crew to complete projects professionally and efficiently

Requirements:

Previous professional flooring experience is required Epoxy, polyaspartic, concrete coating, or resinous flooring experience is a strong plus Understands proper surface preparation and installation procedures Comfortable using professional flooring tools and equipment Reliable transportation Reliable and dependable Strong work ethic and good attention to detail Comfortable with physically demanding work Able to work independently and as part of a crew Willing to travel to job sites throughout Metro Detroit and surrounding areas

Pay:

$20-$25 per hour depending on experience and skill level. Experienced epoxy and concrete-coating installers may qualify for higher compensation based on their abilities and experience. We are looking for someone who already knows the flooring industry and can become a productive member of our crew without needing to be taught the basics of flooring. Full-time work is available. Hours may vary depending on project schedules, workload, weather, and job locations. Overtime may be available when applicable. Hiring immediately.
