  • 1099 Contract with additional opportunities A Merecrest portfolio company is looking for reliable flooring installers for commercial and residential jobs in Great Cleveland / Akron / Canton.
Merecrest owns some of the fastest-growing service companies and products in the Nation (Inc. 5000 honoree). Our flooring company is looking for the right trade partners to help scale while giving repeat opportunities to our highest performers.
What we need:
  • You install glue-down flooring, floating, with a plus if carpet and tile.
  • Portfolio of previous work with photos
  • Own reliable transportation
  • Show up ready to work every single day Job details:
  • Hours:
    7:30 AM
  • 3:30 PM
  • Full day work, full day pay
  • 1099 contractor arrangement
  • Pay:
    $20/hour for first 2 weeks, then review for increase up to $25/hour based on performance and fit; then eligibility to get a portion of every job.
  • Payment based on customer invoice payout structure (paid on company payout cycle)
  • Dress code: Clean work attire. No graphic tees.

Commercial living center (multi-tenant environment)
Expectations:
  • Work ready when you arrive. No exceptions.
  • Professional behavior on all job sites.
  • Able to work collaboratively with other trades and team members.
  • Reliable transportation to get to work.
This is a large project with potential for continued work as we scale flooring operations throughout Ohio. The right person will have opportunities for growth with us.
