Mid-Valley Tile is currently seeking a Showroom Consultant with customer service experience for a permanent part-time opportunity at our showroom. Relevant experience in Interiors, Housing or Design is preferred, but not required. Candidates with experience in the tile or flooring industries will be strongly considered for the position. Strong experience in customer service is required. Candidates are required to have availability to work Saturdays. In an average week, the showroom handles a steady flow of clientele that require assistance in designing and starting their projects. Placing tile material orders accurately and efficiently at the order desk is a large portion of this job, with design work as requested by clients when needed. Candidates must be able to read construction documents, as well as communicate with fellow interior designers and industry professionals effectively. Daily showroom duties include answering phone calls and emails, placing and processing tile orders, maintaining and creating in-store displays, and reviewing tile orders for quality control, as well as checking in orders. Candidates must be able to lift 30-60lbs regularly. Proficient computer skills with Google Suite and other basics are required.

Pay:

$17.50 - $25.00 per hour
