EXPERIENCED
Seamless Gutter Installer. This is NOT an entry-level position and we are NOT looking to train someone from the beginning. A minimum of 3 years of professional, hands-on seamless gutter installation experience is
REQUIRED.
We are looking for an installer who can come into the position already knowing how to perform complete gutter installations efficiently, accurately, and professionally with minimal supervision. The right candidate must be able to produce quality work at a high level, maintain strong installation speed, solve field problems, and consistently meet or exceed production expectations. If your experience is limited to assisting another installer, occasionally working with gutters, roofing only, general construction, or simply being familiar with gutter installation, this position is not the right fit.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3+ years of professional seamless gutter installation experience. Applicants must already have hands-on experience performing complete installations, including: Measuring complete gutter systems Running and operating a seamless gutter machine Cutting and fabricating gutters to proper lengths Installing 5-inch and/or 6-inch seamless gutters Establishing proper gutter pitch and drainage Installing hidden hangers and other fastening systems Measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing downspouts Installing elbows, outlets, end caps, miters, and related components Sealing joints, corners, end caps, outlets, and penetrations correctly Performing inside and outside miters Working around fascia, rooflines, corners, valleys, and difficult elevations Identifying drainage problems and correcting installation issues in the field Working safely from ladders, roofs, scaffolding, and elevated work areas Completing residential and commercial gutter installations with minimal supervision Responsibilities Perform complete seamless gutter and downspout installations from start to finish Accurately measure buildings and determine material requirements before fabrication Set up and operate seamless gutter equipment safely and efficiently Fabricate gutter sections according to field measurements Install gutters with proper pitch, spacing, fastening, and drainage Install downspouts, elbows, outlets, miters, end caps, and accessories Inspect fascia and installation areas before beginning work Identify installation problems before they become callbacks Maintain clean, straight, professional-looking finished installations Perform final quality-control inspections before leaving each project Protect customers' property during installation Maintain tools, equipment, trailers, and gutter machinery Keep job sites organized and clean Follow company and OSHA safety procedures Communicate professionally with supervisors, project managers, customers, and other crew members Maintain strong daily production while never sacrificing installation quality Performance Expectations We are specifically looking for an installer who can overperform , not someone who needs constant instruction.
You should be able to:
Arrive at a project and understand how the gutter system should be installed Work efficiently without being repeatedly shown basic installation procedures Produce clean and consistent workmanship Maintain strong production throughout the workday Make accurate measurements the first time Minimize material waste and installation mistakes Troubleshoot unusual rooflines and drainage conditions Work independently when necessary Work effectively as part of a production crew Complete installations without excessive callbacks or repairs Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of professional seamless gutter installation experience —
REQUIRED
Proven experience installing complete seamless gutter systems Experience operating a seamless gutter machine Strong knowledge of gutter pitch, drainage, fastening, and downspout placement Ability to accurately use a tape measure and perform field measurements Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used for gutter installation Ability to safely work at heights Ability to safely use ladders and related access equipment Ability to perform physically demanding construction work throughout the day Strong attention to detail and workmanship Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow safety procedures and company standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment
