Find & Apply For Glazier / Window Installer Jobs in Elmhurst, Illinois

When something breaks, is your first instinct to think "how can I fix this?" Does working with your hands and learning a centuries-old craft sound like your idea of a good time? Can you think creatively to solve problems and be relied on to get the job done? Modern glass cutting and glazing techniques reach back hundreds of years, but the craft reaches all the way back to ancient Rome. House of Glass is looking for the next generation of artisans to carry on the tradition. If you think that could be you, we want to meet you! Our experienced senior technicians will teach you the skills and proper techniques for handling, cutting, finishing, and installing a wide variety of glass types. All we're looking for from you is the hunger and desire to show up every day wanting to learn more! While we will teach you everything you'll need to know, there are a few qualities and characteristics that we prefer to see: good communication skills and the ability to work well with others, personal responsibility and reliability, and the ability to read work order notes and transfer those to accurate measurements on the piece you are working on.
