Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Renovation Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of renovation, remodeling, and building projects with precision and efficiency. Install building materials such as drywall, stucco, tile, flooring, cabinets, doors, windows, and trim carpentry components. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks including framing, caulking, plastering, and drywall installation. Conduct plumbing and electrical work as needed for remodeling projects while adhering to safety protocols. Manage hardscaping construction projects including stonework, pavers, and outdoor hardscape features. Perform glass installation, door hanging, window installation, and cabinetry setup with precision. Use construction management software like Bluebeam for project documentation and communication. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes; conduct inspections throughout the project lifecycle. Operate heavy equipment when necessary for site preparation or material handling on outdoor projects. Collaborate with team members to interpret technical drawings and adapt plans as needed during construction or restoration efforts. Experience Proven experience in building construction or renovation projects with a strong background in remodeling or restoration work. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively. Demonstrated knowledge of construction estimating and managing project timelines. Experience with drywall installation, stucco application, tiling, flooring installation, and carpentry including frame carpentry and trim work. Familiarity with plumbing systems, electrical wiring basics, glass installation, cabinet mounting, door hanging, and window fitting. Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately for precise execution of tasks. Outdoor work experience preferred for hardscaping projects; ability to adapt to various weather conditions is essential. Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites; commitment to maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
