Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Glass Glazier/Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass and related materials across various projects, ensuring precision and safety at every step. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, from commercial buildings to residential remodels, utilizing your craftsmanship and technical skills to deliver high-quality results. Duties Install windows, doors, glass panels, and occasionally shower panels and mirrors. Handle glass materials safely during transportation, storage, and installation to prevent damage or injury. Perform heavy lifting and maneuver large glass units or framing components with proper equipment and techniques. Apply caulking, sealing, and finishing techniques to ensure weatherproofing and aesthetic quality of installations. Collaborate with office manager on scheduling and jobsite notes. Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating and ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics. Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., chisels, screwdrivers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and fabrication equipment used in glass installation. Experience with window and door glass installation. Skilled in dimensional measurements for quality control to ensure precise fitment of glass and framing components. Ability to handle glass materials safely during manufacturing processes or remodeling projects. Construction site experience with remodeling projects is highly desirable. Knowledge of caulking techniques, trim carpentry, and heavy lifting procedures. Handyman experience or general construction background that demonstrates versatility across multiple trades is a plus. Reliable transportation to get to/from the showroom/shop. Company vehicles are provided for travel to jobsite. Pay:
$22.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
