Family owned and operated since 1952, Custom Glass is a full-service glazing subcontractor serving Northern Nevada and the Sierras. We work on a wide variety of commercial and residential projects and take pride in quality workmanship, professionalism, and customer service. What You'll Do Our Glaziers work on a variety of commercial glazing projects, including: Storefront systems Curtainwall systems Commercial entrances and doors Glass handrails and guardrails Mirrors Skylights Shower enclosures Glass installation and replacement Glazing hardware and related components New construction and service work You will work as part of a professional field team to complete projects safely, efficiently, and according to plans, specifications, and company standards. What We're Looking For 3-5 years of professional glazing experience Experience with commercial glazing or related glass installation Ability to work safely and effectively with hand and power tools Ability to read and follow plans, specifications, and installation instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team Reliable attendance and dependable work habits Ability to communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, contractors, and supervisors Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record OSHA 10 certification The Right Candidate We are looking for someone who: Takes pride in their work and pays attention to the details Understands the importance of safety and quality Can manage changing priorities and meet project deadlines Is comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment Communicates clearly and professionally Is dependable, punctual, and takes ownership of their work Works well with others and contributes to a positive team environment Approaches problems with a solution-oriented mindset Treats customers, coworkers, contractors, and other trades with professionalism and respect Why Work for Custom Glass?

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, Day shift, Overtime and Year Round work. This is a hands-on construction position. Candidates should be comfortable working on commercial construction sites, using tools and equipment, working at heights when required, and performing physically demanding work associated with professional glazing.
