Full Job Description Description:
The 2nd Class Insulator will demonstrate proficiency with hand tools and possess a solid understanding of insulation materials and their applications. The ideal candidate will be a reliable and skilled individual with a keen attention to detail and the ability to complete all responsibilities in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Utilize hand tools such as knives, wire cutters, saws, and tape measures with precision and efficiency. Apply various types of insulation materials according to job specifications and safety standards. Work independently or collaboratively with team members to complete tasks. Maintain punctuality and reliability in attendance and work performance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience working with hand tools and insulation materials. Reliable transportation to and from work sites. Ability to manage tasks effectively in a variety of weather conditions and non-standard hours. Strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and team collaboration.
Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces as required in a shipbuilding environment. Physical agility and dexterity to perform tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching. Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments, including both indoor and outdoor settings. This is a
Full Time Position:
Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM and Friday, 3:00 AM - 9:00 AM
