Duties Measure, cut, and install insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam board, spray foam, or mineral wool according to blueprint specifications and project requirements Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine insulation placement and quantities needed Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding safely to access hard-to-reach areas on construction sites Follow safety protocols rigorously, including proper power tool handling and ladder use, to maintain a safe work environment Collaborate with construction teams to ensure insulation is installed correctly within metal stud framing or other structural elements Climb ladders and scaffolds regularly while maintaining balance and safety standards during installation tasks Communicate effectively with clients and team members to clarify project details and ensure customer satisfaction Experience Prior construction site experience with a focus on building insulation installation or related trades such as plastering or stucco work Knowledge of construction estimating processes for material needs and project timelines Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, and basic math skills for precise measurements Ability to follow safety protocols diligently, including power tool safety procedures and ladder use guidelines Strong communication skills for client interactions and teamwork in fast-paced environments Embark on a rewarding career where your craftsmanship makes a tangible difference!
