Position Summary The Spray Foam & Insulation Technician is responsible for installing closed-cell spray foam insulation while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our homes meet energy efficiency, comfort, and structural performance expectations. Previous spray foam experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train motivated individuals with strong construction experience, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn. Essential Responsibilities
  • Apply closed-cell spray foam insulation to container homes following company quality standards.
  • Properly prepare surfaces by cleaning, masking, and protecting surrounding materials.
  • Operate spray foam proportioning equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections, cleaning, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Verify proper foam thickness, adhesion, and coverage throughout each project.
  • Read and follow production schedules and work instructions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all PPE requirements and OSHA safety guidelines.
  • Communicate equipment concerns and production issues with supervisors.
  • Assist other production departments when insulation work is complete.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve quality and production efficiency. Qualifications Required
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Comfortable working while wearing respirators and protective equipment.
  • Strong work ethic with dependable attendance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Commitment to producing high-quality workmanship. Preferred
  • Spray foam insulation experience.
  • Construction experience.
  • Framing, drywall, insulation, roofing, or manufacturing experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience using power tools.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach overhead.
  • Work from ladders and elevated platforms.
  • Work inside confined spaces within container homes.
  • Wear respirators, protective suits, gloves, and eye protection.

Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
