This energetic position involves installing various types of insulation materials in residential homes. You will work closely with project managers, carpenters, and other trades to ensure insulation is installed accurately and safely, contributing to energy conservation and occupant comfort. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality results on time and within safety guidelines, making a tangible difference in every project. Responsibilities Measure and cut insulation materials precisely according to blueprint specifications using hand tools and power tools Install insulation in walls, ceilings, floors, attics, and other designated areas following technical drawings and safety protocols Use ladders, scaffolding, and climbing equipment safely to access hard-to-reach spaces Follow safety procedures rigorously to prevent accidents during installation and handling of materials Collaborate with team members to ensure proper sealing, caulking, and finishing of insulated areas for optimal energy efficiency Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly Qualifications Proven construction experience with a focus on building insulation installation or related trades such as carpentry or drywall finishing Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and climbing equipment safely Mechanical knowledge relevant to HVAC systems or metal stud framing enhances your versatility on site Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installation Knowledge of safety protocols including power tool safety, ladder use, fall protection, and site safety standards Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration Experience working on construction sites with adherence to safety guidelines is highly valued Embark on a career where your craftsmanship makes a real impact!
