Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insulator to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing various insulation materials to improve energy efficiency, soundproofing, and fire resistance across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help ensure that building systems meet safety standards and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while honing your skills in construction insulation installation and related trades. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam board, spray foam, and mineral wool according to project specifications Follow blueprint drawings and schematics to accurately interpret technical requirements for insulation installation Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding safely to access hard-to-reach areas on construction sites Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including proper power tool safety procedures and fall protection measures during climbing or working at heights Collaborate with carpenters, drywall installers, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate installation efforts effectively Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly Communicate with clients or project managers regarding progress or any issues encountered during installation Requirements Proven construction site experience with a focus on insulation or related trades such as drywall, framing, or roofing Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Mechanical knowledge of building systems and familiarity with fabrication processes is preferred Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., knives, tape measures) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) safely and effectively Strong understanding of safety protocols including ladder use, fall protection, and power tool safety standards Basic math skills for measurements and calculations needed during installation tasks Experience with building insulation installation across various materials and techniques Ability to climb ladders or scaffolding comfortably and work at heights safely Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Join us in delivering high-quality insulation solutions that enhance building performance!
