Johns Insulation Inc. is looking for a Junior Estimator / Estimator Trainee to join our team. Previous mechanical insulation estimating experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working with numbers, and interested in learning construction estimating. Responsibilities will include reviewing construction drawings and specifications, performing material and labor takeoffs, preparing estimates and proposals, communicating with general contractors and mechanical contractors, tracking bids, and assisting with project handoffs after award. Construction, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, engineering, project management, or estimating experience is helpful but not required. Candidates should have good basic math skills, computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read or learn to read construction drawings. This is a good opportunity for someone looking to build a career in construction estimating. Johns Insulation Inc. will provide training in mechanical insulation estimating, materials, labor requirements, specifications, and takeoff procedures. Full-time position.

Pay:

$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
