Spray Foam Installer Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Spray Foam Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing spray foam insulation in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, ensuring energy efficiency and compliance with safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, technical drawings, and safety protocols. The Spray Foam Installer will work closely with project managers and clients to deliver high-quality insulation solutions that meet specifications and deadlines. Responsibilities Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety barriers in accordance with safety protocols. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately install spray foam insulation according to project requirements. Operate spray foam equipment safely and efficiently, including airless paint sprayers and other power tools. Apply spray foam insulation to walls, ceilings, attics, and other designated areas using proper techniques for optimal coverage and performance. Use hand tools and power tools such as caulking guns, drills, and saws for framing, trimming, or finishing insulation areas. Follow safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents related to climbing, ladder use, or power tool operation. Ensure quality control by inspecting installed insulation for proper thickness, adhesion, and coverage. Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress or technical issues. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly. Qualifications Proven experience in construction or building insulation installation preferred; construction site experience is a plus. Knowledge of building codes, blueprints, and technical drawings related to insulation projects. Mechanical knowledge including familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in construction. Ability to interpret basic math calculations necessary for measurements and material estimations. Experience with airless paint spraying or similar application techniques is desirable. Ability to climb ladders safely and work at heights comfortably. Strong adherence to safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Good communication skills for client interaction and teamwork coordination. Physical ability to perform tasks that involve climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, crawling, or standing for extended periods.
