We're a small structural and miscellaneous steel shop that fabricates and erects for commercial jobs around the

Valley:

columns and beams, canopies, RTU and mechanical frames, stairs and ladders, bollards, trash enclosure gates, and whatever else the GC throws at us. We need a field hand who can show up, figure it out, and get it done right. What you'll do Erect structural steel and misc metals on commercial jobsites Fit and weld in the field, mostly 7018 stick and sometimes a suitcase welder (LN-25) Read prints and shop drawings, lay out, and set anchor bolts, columns, and beams Pull a trailer to and from jobs and keep the truck and tools squared away Run equipment like the telehandler, forklift, and scissor or boom lifts Do field fixes when things don't fit the drawings, because they won't always What you need Solid structural welding experience with 7018 in all positions Fitting experience, so you can square it up and make it work Comfortable towing a trailer, with a clean driver's license Experience on heavy equipment Able to read drawings and run a tape Your own hand tools Reliable. If you show up on time every day, you'll already stand out. Nice to have Wire feed experience with the LN-25 Current weld certs Rigging and signaling experience OSHA 10 or 30 We're a small crew, so you'll do a little of everything and your work matters.
