Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Table Bender Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for bending and shaping metal components with precision and efficiency, ensuring all parts meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in machine operation, blueprint interpretation, and mechanical knowledge will drive the success of our fabrication processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality metal fabrication projects in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
JOB PURPOSE
Execute the reinforcing steel bending process in accordance with structural drawings and technical specifications, ensuring geometric precision, and compliance with quality and industrial safety standards. Guarantee the accurate fabrication of steel shapes (stirrups, hooks, beams, columns, special reinforcements), ensuring the product meets structural specifications and contributes to job site safety.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Equipment Operation:
Operate manual, mechanical, or automatic bending machines. Adjust stops, angles, and bending radii according to specifications. Correctly select the rebar diameter to be processed.
Technical Interpretation:
Read and interpret structural drawings and bar bending schedules (cutting/bending lists). Identify the required shapes, angles, dimensions, and quantities.
Quality Control:
Verify angles, lengths, and tolerances after bending. Ensure that pieces meet structural standards. Detect deformations, cracks, or process errors.
Material Optimization:
Reduce waste and rework. Coordinate with the cutting area to make use of usable offcuts.
Industrial Safety:
Properly use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Keep hands and limbs clear of hazard zones. Report machine malfunctions or unsafe conditions.
Order and Organization:
Sort and group bent pieces by project. Keep the work area clean and clear. Join us as a Table Bender Operator if you're passionate about metal fabrication excellence! Pay:
$21.00 – $24.00 per hour
