Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Iron Worker Lead and a two-person crew to manage the on-site erection of two metal buildings. This position offers competitive hourly pay, a completion bonus, and the potential for long-term, full-time employment for a skilled welder and fabricator with proven expertise in metal building construction. Responsibilities and Experience Erect and assemble steel frameworks and metal building components according to detailed blueprints and schematics Operate power tools, heavy equipment, and hand tools safely to facilitate construction tasks Read and interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and schematics to ensure accurate assembly Conduct dimensional measurements using tape measures and other tools to maintain precision in framing and installation Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate site activities, adhere to safety protocols, and meet project deadlines Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on quality standards Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for accurate construction work
