$22.46/hr Position Summary We are hiring dependable Steel Tiers (Rebar Workers) to join our team in the Waco area. Our company specializes in reinforcing steel installation for roads, highways, bridges, and other heavy civil construction projects throughout Texas. Responsibilities Tie and install reinforcing steel (rebar) according to project plans and specifications. Install rebar for roads, bridges, highways, retaining walls, and other concrete structures. Assist with loading, unloading, and staging reinforcing steel materials. Ensure proper rebar spacing, alignment, and secure placement before concrete pours. Follow OSHA and company safety standards. Work with the construction crew to complete projects safely and on schedule. Qualifications 2-3 years of experience tying reinforcing steel required; heavy civil or highway construction experience preferred. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Reliable transportation, dependable attendance, and a strong work ethic. Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed.
