As a Colorist at our fashion company, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the visual identity of our brand through your expertise in color management. Responsibilities:
Communication and Management:
You will be responsible for effectively communicating and managing color expectations throughout the organization. This includes collaborating with various teams to ensure that color requirements are met and maintained.
Lab Dips and Bulk Shade Lots:
You will review lab dips and bulk shade lots for body and trim components. This will involve assessing the color accuracy and making necessary adjustments to ensure consistency and quality.
Color Management Escalation Program:
You will facilitate the color management escalation program, working closely with cross-functional teams to address any color-related issues and find appropriate solutions.
Supply Chain Performance:
Monitoring and managing the supply chain performance will be part of your responsibilities. You will initiate reviews to drive continuous improvement strategies and ensure efficient color management throughout the production process.
Time and Action Calendar:
Coordinating the color process in compliance with the time and action calendar is essential. You will ensure that color-related tasks and deadlines are met to maintain a smooth workflow.
Records and Archives:
Maintaining accurate records and department archives will be necessary for easy reference and historical tracking of color-related information. Support to
Design Team:
You will provide support to the design team by creating and finalizing seasonal color cards as needed. This will involve collaborating closely with designers to ensure that the chosen colors align with the brand's vision and aesthetic.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in color management, specifically with a specialization in washing techniques, will be highly valued. Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential qualities for success in this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer programs is necessary to perform various color-related tasks. Superior color vision and the ability to pass color tests are crucial to accurately assess and manage color quality. Experience working with Walmart is a plus, as it demonstrates familiarity with their specific color requirements and processes.
