Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Water Well Service Rig Hand to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assisting with the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of water well drilling and servicing equipment. Your hands-on expertise will help ensure efficient, safe, and reliable water well services for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your mechanical skills and safety knowledge to contribute to successful well installations and repairs. Duties Assist in the setup, operation, and breakdown of water well drilling rigs and associated equipment Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of pumping systems, rigging, and heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance Support crew members during drilling operations, including pipe handling, pipe racking, and equipment adjustments Operate commercial trucks and tankers safely to transport equipment, materials, or water supplies as needed Follow all safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), respiratory protection, and adherence to OSHA standards Manage pipeline connections and ensure proper rigging techniques during setup and breakdown phases Maintain detailed records of operations, safety checks, and equipment maintenance activities Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience in oil & gas or construction environments is highly preferred Knowledge of pipeline systems, pumping systems, horizontal drilling techniques, and oil rig operations is advantageous Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and effectively Valid commercial driver's license with experience in truck driving and tanker operations is a plus Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including cranes or other lifting devices Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites, OSHA regulations, respiratory protection, and PPE use Ability to work in physically demanding conditions while maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards Experience with construction site work or oil & gas industry practices will be considered an asset Join us to be part of a team committed to delivering top-tier water well services with safety at the forefront. Pay:
$26.08 - $31.41 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
