Job Description

Heavy Equipment Operator RKE Contractors is looking to hire a Heavy Equipment Operator to work on a Heavy Civil Federal project in the

Helena, Arkansas Job Type:

Full Time, In-Person Schedule:

Monday - Friday, with some Saturdays as needed

Pay:

$25 - $35 an hour

Job Tasks:

The Operator's job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Must have experience with the following: Breaker (hydraulic hammer) on large excavator Cutting grade with excavator Operating one or more of the following equipment and/or machines: Excavator Dozer Wheel Loader Preparing construction sites for building, demolition, or excavation Performing daily machine inspections and routine greasing, oiling, and fueling Performing other job duties as assigned, such as some manual labor Complying with all safety regulations, policies, and record-keeping

Operator Requirements:

Minimum of five (5) years of experience operating heavy equipment Must have a valid Driver's License Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and up to 100 pounds with assistance Must be able to bend, kneel, push, pull, walk on rough terrain, and climb in and out of equipment and work areas Must be able to work in outdoor environments CDL is not required, but is preferred
