Our fleet consists of over 46 pieces of heavy equipment, over 30 gas powered trucks, and over 25 small equipment and trailers. We are a reputable company that values its employees as much as its customers. We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for a dirt removal project lasting 1-2 weeks.

Job Duties:

Must be proficient in operating a JD35 exacavator. Must be willing to lift heavy objects (up to 70#), and work in all weather conditions. Ability to follow directions, be self-motivated, maintain a positive attitude, and the ability to work alone and effectively with other people. The ability to give and understand hand and verbal signals. Extensive knowledge in using hand and power tools. The ability to perform preventive maintenance on heavy equipment. Attention to detail, ability to create written reports, work orders, supply and job material requests, and good verbal and written communication. Other duties as assigned.

Leading Candidates:

Must have dependable transportation and a valid driver's license. A current DMV 3-year driving record printout (issued within the past three (3) months) with no major violations. Minimum 3 years of experience running equipment. Ability to complete job scopes outside of normal core competencies as required. Strong working knowledge of job site safety with the ability to thoroughly evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning with an emphasis on identifying proper safety procedures.
