Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and Truck Driver, where your skills will drive the success of our projects! In this role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery—including excavators, loaders, and backhoes—while safely transporting materials to and from construction sites. Your expertise in equipment maintenance, utility locating, and adherence to safety regulations will ensure smooth operations and project excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of construction utility work, contributing to impactful infrastructure projects with energy and precision. Responsibilities Operate heavy construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and Caterpillar equipment to perform excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks efficiently. Transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely across various job sites using commercial trucks and trailers. Perform routine maintenance on construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist with construction utility work by locating underground utilities accurately before excavation begins. Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe work environment. Support construction site activities by performing grading tasks, site clearing, and other utility-related operations as needed. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify mechanical issues early and coordinate repairs promptly to minimize downtime. Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and other related equipment. Demonstrated knowledge of construction site operations, including excavation, grading, and utility work. Strong understanding of federal safety regulations related to construction and heavy equipment operation. Experience with commercial truck driving including hauling materials between sites or to designated locations. Mechanical knowledge necessary for routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting issues on-site. Familiarity with utility locating techniques to prevent damage during excavation activities. Construction experience in grading, utility installation, or general site preparation is highly desirable. Join us in building the future! Pay:
$25.63 - $30.86 per hour
