Job Description

We are seeking a strong team player with the following attributes.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Civil, or other related engineering field
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar drafting software
  • Ability to produce 2D layouts with dimensions and callouts for planning purposes
  • Proficiency with AutoDesk Inventor or similar 3D modeling software
  • Basic knowledge of steel design principles
  • Basic knowledge of heavy haul transport equipment (tractors, trailers, SPMTs, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of cranes and crane terminology (crawlers, "hydros", reeving, blocks, rigging, etc…)
  • Ability to learn and navigate various computer programs or web applications, such as DOT permit portals, crane manufacturer applications for calculating crawler pressures or outrigger loads, and 3D Lift Plan
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Plus Qualifications:
  • PE License or EI certification
  • Design experience using Finite Element Methods (FEM) or other analytical design methods
  • Background in heavy haul planning or crane planning
  • Field experience with heavy haul, crane, or rigging equipment
  • Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) annotations Outstanding pay, health, dental, vision, 401k with match, STD/LTD and Life Insurance, vacation, holiday pay, and more.
