Position Overview:
As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you'll be handling machinery such as skid steers, excavators, and other heavy-duty equipment on active job sites. You'll play a key role in completing sitework, grading, drainage, demolition, and land clearing projects across South Florida. ⸻
Key Responsibilities:
Operate skid steers, excavators, and related equipment safely and efficiently Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance Follow site plans, foreman instructions, and safety procedures Load, grade, trench, clear, and assist with site prep or demolition as needed Communicate clearly with foremen and team members Report any issues, delays, or incidents promptly ⸻
Requirements:
Minimum 4-5 years experience operating heavy machinery Ability to safely operate a wide range of construction equipment and machinery, adapting to various job site requirements while maintaining productivity and compliance with safety standards Valid driver's license (CDL class A is a plus) Strong understanding of job site safety practices Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions Dependability and a team-first attitude OSHA certification is a plus, but not required⸻Why Join Us?
