Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of construction machinery to facilitate building projects, site development, and material handling. Your expertise will ensure that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to contribute to successful construction outcomes. Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, precision and safety awareness. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on construction equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Handle materials efficiently using appropriate material handling equipment such as front loaders, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks. Follow all safety procedures related to equipment operation, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to occupational safety regulations. Assist with site preparation activities like grading, excavation, loading/unloading materials, and site cleanup. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and safety inspections. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks effectively while maintaining a safe work environment. Experience Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and safety protocols. Vaild Drivers Licwense Hands-on experience operating various construction machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators and Caterpillar equipment. Knowledge of occupational safety regulations concerning heavy equipment operation and material handling procedures.
