Duties Operate heavy construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, dump trucks, and to perform excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks. Safely drive commercial trucks, including utility vehicles, to transport materials, equipment. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist with construction work by locating underground utilities using specialized equipment and following federal safety regulations. Perform construction grading and excavation activities with precision to meet project specifications. Follow all equipment safety procedures and safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, or similar equipment in a construction setting. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge for routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures. Ability to perform construction utility work, including utility locating, excavation, , and grading tasks.
