Experienced Bobcat / Loader Operator Seasonal Snow Removal

Job Description

Bobcat / Loader Operator - Seasonal Snow Removal We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bobcat/Skid Steer and Loader Operator to join our seasonal snow removal team for the 2026-2027 winter season . This is a seasonal, weather-dependent position , and work hours will vary based on snowfall, ice conditions, and operational needs. Weekly hours are not guaranteed and may vary throughout the season. Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate Bobcats/skid steers and front-end loaders for snow removal Plow, push, stack, load, and relocate snow as needed Clear parking lots, roadways, entrances, and other designated areas Assist with salting and ice-management operations as assigned Perform routine equipment inspections before and after operation Report equipment maintenance or safety concerns promptly Follow company safety procedures and job-site requirements Operate equipment carefully around vehicles, buildings, curbs, landscaping, pedestrians, and other obstacles Communicate professionally with supervisors and team members Qualifications Two (2) years of previous Bobcat/skid steer and/or loader operating experience is preferred Previous snow-plowing or snow-removal experience is preferred Knowledge of safe equipment operating practices Ability to safely and effectively operate equipment in winter weather conditions Dependable attendance and ability to report for scheduled snow and ice events Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with reasonable accommodations as applicable Valid driver's license preferred when required for assigned duties Experience operating additional snow-removal or heavy equipment is a plus Schedule & Availability This is a seasonal, on-call position . Work schedules are determined by snowfall, ice conditions, and weather-related service needs. Hours may include days, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays depending on when winter weather occurs. There may also be periods with limited or no scheduled hours when snow or ice services are not required. Applicants should have reasonable availability during winter weather events and be able to report to work within the timeframe communicated by management.
