Job Summary We are seeking energetic and dependable Light, Medium, and Heavy Duty Tow Truck Drivers to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will operate various tow trucks—including flatbed and mechanical recovery vehicles—to assist customers with vehicle breakdowns, accidents, and recoveries. Your expertise in vehicle diagnostics, mechanical repair, and safe cargo securement will ensure efficient and secure towing services. Duties Safely operate a range of tow trucks, including flatbed and recovery vehicles, to tow vehicles of varying sizes from light cars to heavy-duty trucks Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to assess mechanical condition and determine appropriate towing or recovery procedures Securely load and unload vehicles onto tow trucks following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit Perform minor mechanical repairs and basic troubleshooting on vehicles when possible to facilitate quick turnaround times Assist customers professionally by providing clear explanations of services, estimated timelines, and safety procedures Execute vehicle recovery towing operations in compliance with safety standards and industry best practices Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, and incident reports for record-keeping purposes Skills Proven experience with automotive diagnostics, minor mechanical repairs, and basic vehicle troubleshooting Strong knowledge of commercial truck driving regulations and safe driving practices for heavy-duty vehicles Expertise in cargo securement protocols for different types of vehicles and loads Skilled in operating flatbed tow trucks, car carriers, and other specialized recovery equipment Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally Exceptional customer service abilities with clear communication skills Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and vehicle mechanics specific to truck drivers Ability to load & unload vehicles safely using manual transmission techniques when required Familiarity with vehicle mechanics for truck drivers to assist with minor repairs during roadside assistance Heavy duty drivers may qualify for up to a $5000.00 sign on bonus if you have verifiable Heavy duty towing experience. Light duty / Medium duty drivers may qualify for up to a $2500.00 sign on bonus if you have verifiable Light/medium duty towing experience. Join us if you're ready to make a difference on the road!
