8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, Open from 8:00am-Noon on Saturdays Join a fast-growing equipment company where you're more than just a driver. As a Heavy Equipment Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our business, delivering and operating some of the industry's most in-demand equipment while building relationships with contractors and customers across Southwest Missouri. Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, local routes within a two-hour radius, and the opportunity to work with a variety of construction equipment, including telehandlers, excavators, lifts, and skid steers. This is a direct hire opportunity in Bolivar, MO. Heavy Equipment Delivery Driver Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Safely transport heavy equipment to and from customer locations, job sites, and company branches
  • Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers, contractors, and job site personnel
  • Perform equipment loading, unloading, securement, and transportation in accordance with company safety standards
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, trailers, and equipment
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with branch personnel
  • Support branch operations as needed, including equipment staging, yard organization, and equipment preparation
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic regulations
  • Deliver and pick up rental and sales equipment within a local service area, generally within a two-hour radius of branch locations
  • Travel as needed between the Marshfield and Bolivar branches to support business operations
  • Load, unload, secure, and transport heavy equipment, attachments, and related materials
  • Operate a variety of equipment safely and confidently, including skid steers, mini excavators, boom lifts, scissor lifts, compact equipment, and telehandlers
  • Provide basic operational demonstrations and safety instructions to customers upon delivery
  • Inspect equipment before and after transport and report any damages, maintenance concerns, or safety issues
  • Complete delivery paperwork, digital inspections, and scheduling updates using company software and mobile technology
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while providing excellent customer service
  • Communicate delivery status, customer concerns, and equipment needs with branch management and dispatch personnel
  • Assist customers and job site contacts with delivery placement and equipment questions when appropriate
Heavy Equipment Delivery Driver Requirements:
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to climb on and off trailers and heavy equipment multiple times throughout the day
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, and work in varying outdoor conditions
  • Ability to safely load, unload, and secure heavy equipment for transport
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment and commercial vehicles for extended periods
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and dust
  • Ability to safely handle equipment weighing up to 21,000 pounds, including telehandlers and other large construction equipment
  • Valid Class E or Class B driver's license required; CDL is not required
  • Strong computer skills are required for scheduling, inspections, communication, and electronic documentation
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential, as this role regularly interacts with contractors, project managers, and job site personnel
  • Prior experience with heavy equipment operation, transportation, construction equipment, or rental industry experience is preferred
