Various Locations (Travel Required) Position Summary Looks Great Services of MS, Inc. is looking for an experienced, dependable, and safety-minded Skid Steer Operator to join our Utility Vegetation Management team. This position is responsible for operating a skid steer in support of tree removal and right-of-way clearing operations while assisting the crew with groundwork, debris removal, and tree cutting as needed. This is a physically demanding outdoor position that requires a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and pride in maintaining equipment. Primary Responsibilities
Safely operate a skid steer during tree removal and vegetation management operations.
Load, transport, stack, and move logs, brush, wood chips, and other debris.
Assist tree crews with cutting trees, clearing brush, and general ground operations when equipment is not in use.
Perform daily equipment inspections before each shift.
Conduct routine daily maintenance, including checking engine oil, hydraulic fluid, coolant, fuel, tires or tracks, grease points, and air filters.
Keep equipment clean and report mechanical issues immediately.
Work safely around crews, traffic, and energized utility lines.
Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and ANSI standards.
Must understand proper daily maintenance and inspection procedures for skid steer equipment.
Must be physically fit and able to perform strenuous outdoor work.
Must be willing to assist with tree cutting and brush removal when not operating equipment.
Must be able to repeatedly lift 75 pounds.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
Must be able to speak, read, and understand fluent English.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred. Physical Requirements
Frequently lift, carry, bend, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity.
Ability to safely enter and exit equipment multiple times throughout the workday.
Ability to work on uneven terrain and in wooded environments. Benefits
