Equipment Services of NC is growing, and we're looking for an experienced CDL Class A Lowboy Driver / Heavy Equipment Hauler who takes pride in doing the job right. This isn't your average driving position. Every day brings a new challenge—moving excavators, dozers, cranes, aerial lifts, and oversized construction equipment throughout North Carolina and the surrounding states. What You'll Do Transport heavy construction equipment using lowboy and specialized trailers. Safely load, unload, and properly secure equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, skid steers, aerial lifts, rollers, and more. Haul oversize and overweight loads while maintaining full DOT compliance. Operate in construction sites, tight urban areas, and challenging jobsite conditions. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate driver logs. Inspect load securement throughout transport. Utilize proper rigging techniques during loading and unloading. Assist with dump truck and roll-off deliveries when needed. Work closely with dispatch and customers to ensure safe and on-time deliveries. Represent Equipment Services of NC with professionalism on every job. What We're Looking For Valid CDL Class A License (Required) Current DOT Medical Card Minimum 4 years of heavy equipment hauling experience Experience hauling oversize and overweight loads Strong knowledge of equipment securement and DOT regulations Experience with chains, binders, rigging, and load securement Ability to safely operate in demanding jobsite environments Excellent work ethic and dependable attendance Team player with a "Get It Done" attitude High School Diploma or GED Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening Bonus Skills Heavy towing and recovery experience Roll-off or dump truck experience Mechanical or heavy equipment operating experience What We Offer $60,000-$100,000+ per year based on experience and performance Paid Time Off Modern, well-maintained equipment Year-round work Opportunities for advancement as our company continues to grow A family-oriented company where hard work is recognized and rewarded This Position Is Perfect For Someone Who… ✔ Enjoys operating heavy equipment and hauling challenging loads. ✔ Wants more than just driving the same route every day. ✔ Takes pride in doing quality work. ✔ Can adapt to changing priorities and tackle whatever the day brings. ✔ Understands that great teams succeed by helping one another.
