Your attention and clear communication will help protect teammates, prevent equipment damage, and keep materials moving safely. If you enjoy active, hands-on work and have the confidence to speak up when something isn't safe, this could be a strong fit. What You'll Do Guide equipment movements: Use established hand signals, flags, and two-way radios to direct forklifts, mobile yard cranes, semi-trucks, and overhead cranes.
Identify hazards:
Watch for pedestrians, overhead obstructions, ground hazards, changing terrain, and nearby equipment. Signal an immediate stop when conditions become unsafe.
Help operators navigate blind spots:
Maintain a safe, visible position while guiding equipment through tight corners, doorways, congested manufacturing areas, and outdoor yards.
Set up safe movement zones:
Position safety cones and help control pedestrian access while large modular assemblies are moved, positioned, or flipped.
Coordinate material transfers:
Work with the Material Handler Superintendent, riggers, crane operators, drivers, and material handlers.
Maintain clear communication:
Stay focused throughout each movement and confirm that operators understand your signals.
Follow site safety procedures:
Comply with the EAS Safety Program and wear all required personal protective equipment, including high-visibility clothing and hearing protection as required. What You'll Bring High school diploma or GED. At least one year of experience in manufacturing, construction, rigging, logistics, or another environment involving heavy equipment movement. Strong awareness of your surroundings and the ability to recognize changing hazards. Clear communication skills using hand signals, verbal instructions, and two-way radios. Good judgment and the confidence to stop an unsafe movement immediately. A dependable, team-oriented approach to working with operators and ground crews.
Preferred qualifications:

Experience as a Spotter, Signalperson, Rigger Helper, Material Handler, Yard Associate, Forklift Operator, Warehouse Associate, Shipping and Receiving Associate, or Construction Laborer may translate well to this position.
