Excavator Operator - Swimming Pool ConstructionOverview We are a busy swimming pool construction company looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. This is an important role in our construction process. We need someone who understands that digging a pool is about more than moving dirt — precision, planning, and keeping a clean and organized jobsite matter. For fiberglass pools, that means maintaining the proper overdig for plumbing and stone backfill. For gunite pools, it means digging accurately to the plans and avoiding unnecessary over-excavation and extra material. The right person will be comfortable taking ownership of the excavation portion of our projects, managing onsite material, and working with the rest of our team to keep jobs moving efficiently. Responsibilities Operate excavators, skid steers, track loaders, and other construction equipment Excavate for fiberglass and gunite swimming pools accurately and efficiently Manage onsite material and determine whether dirt stays onsite, moves to another project, or is hauled away Coordinate dump trucks and material movement as needed Perform grading, trenching, backfilling, and general site preparation Prepare stone bases and assist with setting fiberglass pools level Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Perform basic equipment inspections and routine maintenance Help coordinate equipment moves between jobsites Work closely with project managers and crew members to keep projects on schedule What We're Looking For Strong excavator experience in residential or commercial construction Swimming pool excavation experience is a major plus Ability to read a site, understand elevations, and excavate with precision Experience with grading, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation Comfortable operating skid steers and track loaders Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment Good understanding of jobsite safety Reliable, organized, and able to work as part of a team Someone who takes pride in their equipment, their work, and the condition of the jobsite We build high-quality swimming pools and outdoor spaces, and we are looking for an experienced operator who wants to be an important part of that process. Pay:

$28.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 50.0 per week
